22nd February 2017 – In September 2015, we set out to build NIDA Rooms as a disruptive travel technology company with a mission to connect travellers and hotels in an increasingly digital world and create new value adds to both groups. By providing an innovative and easy-to-use booking application, we enable hotels to increase occupancy and revenue, while providing customers with quality accommodation assurance, convenient booking and affordable price in great locations across Southeast Asia. Since then, NIDA Rooms has grown by leaps and bounds to be the largest branded economy hotel room network in the region. We have now partnered with over 4,000 hotels in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, and are planning to soon launch our service in Singapore.

 

Today, NIDA Rooms announced raising USD 5.6 million dollars in series A investment led by Shanda Group.
