Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Responsibilities:

  • Core product delivery: Lead the development of core features for the Agent App, including streaming responses, inference step visualization, and multimodal interactions.
  • Engineering system and infrastructure: Design and maintain a Monorepo architecture (sharing logic and types with the web application), build and operate CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane / EAS), and manage certificates, automated builds, and app store releases.
  • Native capabilities development: Handle system-level capabilities beyond React Native, including developing and integrating native modules, managing background tasks, and implementing platform-specific system interactions.
  • Performance optimization and quality assurance: Optimize app startup time, long-list scrolling performance, and memory usage; establish production monitoring and issue diagnosis workflows to ensure application stability.
  • AI-assisted development: Effectively leverage AI coding tools in daily development workflows to improve unit test coverage and overall delivery efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript, with hands-on experience delivering and publishing production-grade commercial mobile applications.
  • Proficient with modern state management and data solutions (e.g., Zustand, TanStack Query), with a solid understanding of caching strategies and persistence mechanisms.
  • Familiar with iOS and Android native development environments; able to independently diagnose native build issues and resolve cross-platform compatibility problems.
  • Strong engineering practices: capable of independently configuring and maintaining automated release pipelines, hot updates, and staged rollout strategies.
  • High ownership and autonomy: able to independently solve problems and drive features from 0→1 through full delivery.
