New Media Operations Manager (AIGC Science Communication)
Responsibilities:
- Multi-platform account operations: Own and operate official accounts across platforms such as Bilibili and Douyin, including content planning, production coordination, publishing, and ongoing optimization. Drive growth in followers, engagement, and visibility by developing platform-specific content strategies aligned with the AIGC science communication positioning.
- Trend monitoring and content campaigns: Continuously track trending science topics, emerging technology developments, and platform traffic trends. Translate insights into new media campaigns that balance scientific value with strong shareability, increasing content reach and user participation.
- Full-lifecycle user operations: Build and manage user engagement systems, including comment moderation, direct message handling, and community or fan group maintenance. Collect user feedback and content demand signals to inform editorial planning. Implement segmented user strategies to improve engagement, retention, and community loyalty.
- Data-driven optimization: Monitor key platform metrics and produce regular performance and post-campaign reports. Analyze content performance and user behavior to refine operational strategies and continuously improve overall account efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in new media operations, marketing, journalism, communications, or related fields; 3+ years of experience in new media operations.
- Deep familiarity with Bilibili and Douyin platforms, including platform rules, user behavior, and growth mechanics; able to independently plan and execute platform-native operational initiatives.
- Strong data analysis skills, with hands-on experience using analytics tools to identify issues, extract insights, and propose actionable optimization strategies.
- Strong passion for science communication and continuous interest in technology trends and the science outreach ecosystem; high content sensitivity and creativity, with the ability to quickly translate scientific topics into effective operational ideas.
- Excellent writing, communication, and collaboration skills; proactive, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving new media environment.
