Hanyu Shao, Ph.D.

Cognitive Assessment Scientist

Dr. Hanyu Shao works as a Cognitive Assessment Scientist at Shanda where she is responsible for the development of practical strategies for cognitive assessment and monitoring cognitive impairment in the mass population. In her role, she collects data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and interprets patterns in complex data sets.

 

Dr. Shao received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She spent six years as a postdoctoral fellow at Professor ShengHe’s lab at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining Shanda, Dr. Shao worked as a data researcher at a startup company in Beijing, focusing on cognitive assessment and rehabilitation of people suffering from cognitive and motor disorders.
